Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Manchester
Contract: Permanent

Working hours: Part time (5 days per week, 4 hours per day; can be flexible with start/finish times to suit the right person)
Salary: £11,000 per annum for 20 hours per week, with other benefits such as a generous pension and private medical care
Closing date: 15th February 2017

Main duties of the role:

  • Coding and input of purchase invoices and staff expenses
  • Electronic payment runs
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Liaison with internal and external contacts
  • Handling queries.

There may be an occasional requirement to help out with the coding and processing of sales ledger invoices as well and there may be some other ad hoc financial duties from time to time.

The candidate should be reliable and able to work to tight deadlines. Knowledge of the Access Dimensions accounting software package would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be given.
