Nether Carswell Wind Turbine

East Renfrewshire
Project Description:

TNEI Services Ltd has undertaken initial site feasibility for Feed in Tariff scale turbines on over 150 sites across Scotland during 2011 on behalf of Intelligent Land Investments. This was done using a bespoke model tailored specifically to the client’s needs and requirements. On those sites that were suitable for progression to planning, TNEI then prepared and submitted the planning applications.

The Nether Carswell site is located on the outskirts of Neilston and falls within the jurisdiction of East Renfrewshire Council. Consent was granted for a single 500kW wind turbine with a 50m hub height as well as associated infrastructure in January 2012.
